Find Your Fit: Skip Hire Guide
Choosing the right skip isn’t always easy, but it’s important to make the right choice for your site. Finding the skip type that fits you can help you save money, and build a more efficient and sustainable waste management solution.
If you’re looking for skip hire, #FindYourFit with our below breakdown of skip types and sizes.
Open Skips
Open skips are the most common choice for skip hire – by builders, industrial sites and domestic skip hire alike. JWS provide 4 yard, 8 yard and 12 yard skips to the North West region, including Salford and Manchester.
4 YARD OPEN SKIP

8 YARD OPEN SKIP

W: 1.75m H: 1.83m L: 4.29m
12 YARD OPEN SKIP

Choosing a skip for your waste type
Take a look at our below guide which details which containers we offer for each waste stream. If you are unsure about your waste stream, take a look at our waste guide or call our team on 0161 737 4545 for help.
Not all waste streams are suitable for every skip/waste container. Some waste streams are too heavy for larger containers, or need to be covered to protect from weather such as rain and wind (cardboard, for example.)
