Driver Neil Booth takes on the Brutal Extreme Triathlon
Congratulations to our driver, Neil Booth, who braved the Brutal Extreme Triathlon last month. Neil has been training constantly for the triathlon, and we were immensely proud to hear about his success.
The Brutal event included three sporting races, with the first being an open water swim at Llyn Padarn in Wales. Neil also accomplished an open road bike race that took place on a lap course of over 28.99 miles. The race involved two subdivisions, including a 5.2 mile lap around Llyn Padarn and an ascent and descent of Mount Snowdon.
When Neil participated in the Brutal Extreme Triathlon in September, a total of 58 people had entered to take part, and of that 58 only 47 participants finished the race completely. Wearing a one-of-a-kind JWS Waste kit and equipped with a bike sporting the JWS Waste brand, Neil himself came in 14th place overall with 15:27 minutes remaining. Well done, Neil!
