83 Advent Calendars Donated to Trussell Trust’s Salford Central Food Bank
JWS Waste donate advent calendars to Trussell Trust’s Salford Central Food Bank
As tradition at JWS Waste, the entire workforce pulled together to collect advent calendars in time for the countdown to Christmas. Employees brought in advent calendars that were to be donated to Trussell Trust’s Salford
Central Foodbank.
JWS Waste are more than happy to help this charity, as it supports families in our local community. Trussell Trust has approximately 420 food banks nationwide, in addition to the Foodbank here in Salford where JWS Waste made our own donation.
In total, JWS Waste employees raised 83 advent calendars, which includes calendars purchased on behalf of the Company. Both Trussell Trust and the Salford Central Food Bank were pleased with JWS Waste’s contribution to the charity.
We’re hoping that these advent calendars will put smiles on a lot of faces during the countdown to Christmas!
