Inside JWS: Employees Receive SAFED Certificate of Achievement
Our Drivers Take On The SAFED (Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving) Course
Recently, our Driver Foreman, Andy Knowles, and Driver Charge Hand, Graham Hinton, both completed the SAFED (Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving) Course. We are very proud for both of these JWS employees for their success in achieving their SAFED Certifications.
SAFED is a driver development course that consists of training and assessment. The two main purposes of the course are to help make drivers safer and more fuel-efficient on the road. The course itself includes subjects such as safe driving techniques and awareness of fuel economy and road layout.
By having both these individuals adopting best practice in SAFED this can improve road safety, driving standards and also reduce vehicle operating costs.
Not only does this support JWS’ own values of health & safety, but it also means Andy and Graham will help improve the sustainability of our services through better fuel-efficiency – an added benefit for both JWS and also our customers.
