Health & Safety Figures For 2017
Continuing our comitment to Health & Safety Values at JWS
Health & Safety forms a key part in our commitment to compliance, alongside our quality and environmental values. This is why we are pleased to report that our accident summary for the year (2017), has once against shown improvement from previous years.
Our graph shows figures spanning over the last nine years, including our rise in employee numbers (red) and the slight decrease in the number of incidents that we have had (green). Overall, this has led to a significant reduction in the incident rate per employee (blue), which has dropped down from 0.4 in 2015, to 0.3 in 2016 and now 0.2 in 2017.
This is a real improvement in the accident rate on site and is a testament to the hard work put in by the entire JWS team. With Health & Safety being such a valued aspect of our business, we are proud to be able to share this accomplishment.
Our dedication to high Health & Safety standards is also backed up by our accreditations, including our SafeContractor accreditation and also our Acclaim Health & Safety accreditation which we achieved in 2017.
