JWS Waste Are Given Fantastic Feedback From The EA On EPR Compliance Report
On the 5th November 2013 the Environment Agency undertook an audit to investigate compliance to the Environmental Planning Regulations. Two EA officers spent a full day working closely with the Operations and QEHS team onsite addressing key factors such as documentation and processes which focused on Duty Of Care documents, licences, compliance procedures, site systems and waste inputs and outputs covering the period from January – March 2013.
JWS Waste were commended on many areas in the report, in particular the levels of control and management of the site stating: “the waste acceptance procedures in place at the site is comprehensive and demonstrates a high level of control over waste inputs/outputs”
Further praise was offered in the report summary which stated: “The site and systems in place appear to work well. The level of control over waste through the plant was impressive as was the amount of detail made available to us at the audit. I would like to thank Tim Andrew & Jade Saleh for their time on the day, it was invaluable.”
