JWS Waste & Recycling Accredited to Offer CPC Training To Drivers
On the 28th November it was announced that the Vehicle & Operator services Agency (VOSA) and the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) would be merging under the banner of the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency.
With a large fleet of vehicles and experienced team of professional drivers JWS Waste is well placed to work with the new Agency. Ongoing improvements to vehicles including LOLA certification & ongoing training and development is key at JWS Waste & Recycling.
JWS Waste are an accredited Jaupt CPC training centre which allows us to deliver CPC training not only to our own drivers, but also to external drivers from other companies and partners.
The CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is designed for LGV drivers who drive professionally in the UK. It is a legal requirement that involves all professional drivers undertaking 35 hours of Periodic Training every 5 years which aims to improve road safety; providing better qualified drivers keeping them up to date with any change in legislation and to help reduce road casualties.
