JWS Waste Team Raise over £60 for Save the Children Charity
Employees pull together to help raise money for this special charity during Christmas Jumper Day
On Friday the 16th, employees at JWS Waste committed their efforts to raising money for the international Save the Children charity. Employees wore Christmas jumpers and everybody donated £2 for the cause.
To raise even more money for the charity, cupcakes and mince pies were sold to employees and also over our outgoing weighbridge. Our Traffic Department was spectacular when it came to raising money by selling our treats to drivers over our weighbridge. Their efforts resulted in a large contribution to the £64 that JWS Waste raised in total.
Even our Christmas Elf got involved when our Customer Care Consultants Wayne and Hannah wore elf-inspired Christmas Jumpers for Christmas Jumper Day!
We all enjoyed a day of raising money for charity during this year’s Christmas Jumper Day. Employees are all pleased with how much money was raised for Save the Children – hopefully next year we’ll be able to raise even more!
