Our Donation to Trussell Trust Salford Foodbank
This week we donated advent calendars, toiletries and more to Trussell Trust’s Salford Foodbank
As part of our annual tradition for the Christmastime, our team donated Advent Calendars for the Salford Foodbank. These should put smiles on a lot of faces ready for when the countdown to Christmas begins next week!
In addition, we also donated toiletries, food, and drinks to the food bank. This included tins of carrots and peas, shampoo and shower gel, orange juice and milk. We really hope that this donation will help support both the Salford Foodbank and in turn the families in our local community.
Our total donation included 24 advent calendars, 24 tins of sliced carrots, 24 cartons of milk and more. Totalling over 150 items donated to our local food bank – donated by our employees and funded by JWS.

The Trussell Trust provide emergency food to people referred for support. Theyh ave appoximately 420 food banks and over 1,200 centres across the UK. In the last year, their network gave over 1 million three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis.
