Our Team Raises over £500 in Bake Sale Fundraiser
Bake Sale Fundraiser in the JWS Office!
On Friday 5th October, the JWS team organised a fundraising bake sale to support Gemma Epstein’s fight against cancer. As a close friend of our Customer Care Manager, Jane Eustace, we really wanted to help raise funds for Gemma’s treatment.
The whole team got together, from bringing in their own baked goodies like cakes and brownies, to buying the sweet treats and taking part in our office raffle. Our weighbridge team was even selling the cakes and other goodies to drivers before they left our site!
the end of the day, our team raised over £230 for Gemma, a brilliant achievement for such a small office, and we are very happy with the teamwork, effort and generosity of all our guys here at JWS! To make it even better, the total of our donation was kindly topped up to £500 personally by our MD, Robin Tweedale, which we are very grateful for.
