We focus on recovery via our very own Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) here in Salford. This maximises the value of your waste through expert segregation so that more of your waste can be recycled.

Central Manchester Location

We are proud to be a Manchester-based business. Situated in Salford, less than 1.2 miles from the city centre, this makes JWS an ideal partner for businesses and construction projects happening in the heart of Manchester.

UK Energy from Waste

Sustainable Fleet

A key part of our service, we are pleased to be FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) accredited for the safety, efficiency and environmental standards of our entire fleet. We also ensure our vehicles are Euro 5 or 6 for better sustainability results.

Integrity & Reliability

A fully-compliant, accredited company, we take pride in being able to offer a secure, environmentally sound solution that’s in-line with UK legislation and offers you the highest of standards.

Skip Hire FAQ

Where can my skip go?

We can drop your container on private lands, such as a driveway or a compound, providing there is enough space for it.

If you require the container to go into a specific location, you will be able to direct the driver where to place the container once they have arrived at your site.

Please note that JWS do not place skips on the road, however we do offer a wait and load service that could be an ideal alternative.

What can/can't go in a skip?

Hazardous waste can not go into your skip under any circumstances – if you believe you are producing hazardous waste please contact us for assistance.

You can download our waste definitions guide to see what type of materials you are producing. This will help us to better understand what container/solution is suitable for you.

What size skip do I need?

If you are producing a high quantity of waste materials than a rollonoff might be ideal for you as this will allow you to store more waste.

Please note that heavier materials such as inert or hardcore aren’t suitable for larger containers as this can make them too heavy to lift.

If you are unsure about which container would be ideal for you, feel free to contact our team.
