Further Success for JWS Waste’s Apprenticeship Programme
JWS Waste’s Apprenticeship Programme continues to showcase our commitment to the growth and development of our employees.
Over the years JWS Waste have welcomed a number of Apprentices to our workforce, offering a workplace experience whilst supporting the individual’s learning and development. The success for our Apprenticeship Programme continues with further training accomplishments from these individuals.
In addition to the two Apprentices we currently employ, we now have three permanent members of staff who previously joined JWS Waste as an Apprentice. Our Apprentices have all joined varying departments within the Company, including our Accounts Department, Marketing Department, and our Customer Services and Transport Teams.
With effect from 01 August 2016, our Marketing Apprentice Cherelle became a permanent member of staff following the completion of her Apprenticeship. Cherelle is now our Marketing Assistant, working within our Marketing Department. We’d like to congratulate her on her success in achieving her Level 3 Digital Marketing qualification.
We’d also like to congratulate our Accounts Assistant, James, who recently passed his AAT Level 3 Course. James, who originally joined our Accounts Department as an Apprentice, has been an excellent member of our team. JWS have already committed to continue their support of James as he is keen to progress onto his AAT Level 4 course on a day release basis in September.
Adam, who completed his initial Apprentice in our Transport Department, joined the JWS Waste’s Master Driver Apprenticeship Programme, alongside four other JWS Waste employees who have been participating in the new programme. Adam, along with his other colleagues on the course, will soon have completed his LGV training to earn his Class 2 Drivers Licence.
Our two most recent Apprentices joined JWS Waste last September; Hannah joined our Customer Services Department, and Tom joined our Accounts Department. Both of these Apprentices have made excellent progress with their Apprenticeship courses and are looking to have completed their Apprenticeships later this year.
Working alongside these individuals means that JWS Waste can help as much as possible with their learning and development, whilst our Apprentices also offer their support for the Company and our operations as a member of our workforce. As both our Apprentices and permanent members of staff continue to succeed in their studies and individual training, JWS Waste prove ourselves as a Company that are dedicated to supporting the growth and development of each and every one of our employees.
